Cherry Vanilla Cake Mix Cookies

Hey there. I've got some more yumminess to share with you today! This is another one of the 12 flavors for the Duncan Hines recipe challenge. So far I have shared....cinnamon roll cupcakes, cotton candy meringues, strawberry bliss and now cherry vanilla cookies, from a cake mix!

For awhile now I've been wanting to try turning a cake mix into a  cookie, and I knew this was the perfect chance! By simply adding a Duncan Hines flavor packet, cherries, and white chocolate chips it created a really unique flavor. They were a refreshing break from all the boring cookie norms....and of course easy! I will be making these for sure in the future...and playing with more flavored cookies, no doubt.

Here's what you'll need:

1 box of white cake mix
1 packet of Duncan Hines frosting creations cherry vanilla
1 stick unsalted butter room temp
2 eggs
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup dried cherries

Preheat the oven to 350.
Step 1. Beat butter until soft.

Step 2. Add in 2 eggs, beat together.

Step 3. Add white cake mix.

Step 4. Add in Duncan Hine Cherry Vanilla Flavor Mix, mix until blended.

Step 5. Stir in dried cherries and white chocolate chips.

Step 6. Drop onto parchment paper or foil lined cookie sheet.

Step 7. Bake for 13 minutes.

Step 8. Easily transfer cookies to cool on wire rack by lifting parchement paper or foil and sliding onto cooling rack.

Now enjoy your yummy cookie, or cookies :)

Happy baking!
